Military Working Dog Support

Many US Military Dogs are presently working overseas with our troops in
Not sure what to buy? Purchase a gift certificate for the Military Working Dogs in whatever denomination is comfortable for you. These certificates are accumulated to fund purchases of specially requested items, or simply to purchase expanded quantities of essential items.
If you wish to participate, simply come to the store and indicate that you want to donate products or buy a gift certificate. And while you’re here, look at the photo album sent by dog handlers to learn where your donations will go. The handlers greatly appreciate everything that is sent to them for the working dogs.
Thank you to those who have already contributed one or more times. And especially to Sunchaser Sams, local chapter of the Good Sams, who made the largest single donation to this effort!
Pet Adoption in Virginia Beach
Dogs, cats, and other pets may be adopted from the Virginia Beach SPCA or Virginia Beach Animal Control. Visit their web sites for specific information (www.vbspca.com) ( www.vb.gov/dept/police/division/ops/animal/0,1699,7826,00). Both sites offer information about available animals with photos as well as other information. Or stop by our store and get a map with directions to the SPCA and Animal Control along with a phone number for each. You can also help by putting your loose change in the SPCA collection box in our store.
There are many local organizations that have some type of pet available for adoption. K-9 New Life is one such adoption organization specializing in dogs. K-9 New Life volunteers do a wonderful job caring for their foster dogs while they wait for adoption. Their list of available dogs can be seen on their web site www.k9newlife.com.
We will give you a discount on the initial purchase of products for your new pet if you bring us proof of adoption.

And you can help Evelyn by placing your loose change in the wildlife rescue collection box in our store.
