About us Owned and operated by Bev (alias Fishmom) and Mory (alias Ferret Master) Roberts since 1987, the business is fortunate to be supported by a friendly staff of knowledgeable sales associates. Three associates have been with us for 12 to 18 years and have made important contributions to the business throughout its existence. Our present roster of sales associates includes young people selected for their interest in learning about animals and animal care products, marketing, and sales. These young people respect and enjoy dealing with customers. They often remain with us for three or more years and become very knowledgable about all kinds of pets. Some of these young people have gone on to careers in veterinary or animal science. Continuous training is offered to everyone on the staff. All staff members are cross-trained to deal with all types of pets. Owners and staff alike are committed to providing friendly knowledgeable service to the Tidewater community.
